EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIE
1. Scout
- Scout activity is focused on Line of march (PBB)
- Scout activity intend to increase student’s discipline
- Emergency response
- Scout activity is required for all graders with criteria:
- 1 & 3 Grader in level of “SIAGA”
- 4 & 6 Grader in level of “PENGGALANG”
- MTs & MA in level of “PENEGAK”
- Scout activity is done for two lesson hours in a week
- Scout activity is applied integration with lesson hours
2. Pagar Nusa
- PAGAR NUSA is an option extracurricular because it is connected with the student’s talent
- PAGAR NUSA is fostered by the expert and competent
- PAGAR NUSA has goal to win the race
- PAGAR NUSA is done for two lesson hours in a week
3. Music Patrol
- Music Patrol is an option extracurricular for 4, 5, 6 and 8 grader
- Music Patrol is fostered by the expert
- This extracurricular is preparing the players to follow competition & performing arts
- Music patrol is done for two lesson in a week
4. Al Banjari
- Al-Banjari is an option extracurricular for 4, 5, 7 and 8 grader
- Al-Banjari is fostered by the expert
- This extracurricular is preparing the players to follow the competition and performing arts
- Al-Banjari is done two lesson hours
5. Futsal
- Futsal activity us an option extracurricular for MTs
- Futsal activity is fostered by the expert
- Futsal activity is preparing the members to win the race/ competition
- This activity is done for 120 minutes in a week
6. Self Development
English Day
- This activity is implemented everyday
- This activity is applied to all graders
- The material for English day can be divided in to 4
- Describing
- The students are given picture/ case based on themes with predefined theme
- Students are asked to notice the object or think about the case carefully
- Students are asked to determine the characteristics of the object / the case
- Students are asked to think about the function/ the use of the object or the case
- Students are asked to use the right words
- Students are asked to describe their result of description in front
- Comparing
- Students are given two texts/ cases/ pictures
- Students are asked to write the main idea of their writing by comparing 2 things/ cases
- Students are asked to write about something concrete and has known by public
- Students are asked to write in neutral way or not vilify one object which is being discussed
- Using connective words like, if it is comparing with, as well as, likewise, similarly, in accordance with, etc.
- Assessing
- Students are given pictures of phenomena/ problems
- Students are asked to assess what is the cause of the phenomena and how to solve problems
- Debating
- Students are given the topic or motions
- Students are divided into two teams, positive team (affirmative/ government) and negative team (opposition).
- Each argument must consist of assertion, reasoning, evidence, and link back
- The teacher leads the debate
